Pulmonary Rehabilitation

A supervised program of exercise, education, and support for patients with chronic lung conditions such as COPD, asthma, and pulmonary fibrosis.

Physician/advanced practice provider referred, 10-12 week course with required attendance 2x weekly. Focus is on wellness, shortness of breath, breathing re-training, energy conservation strategies, and learning to exercise while controlling your breathing.

Non-surgical treatment for COPD, asthma, restrictive lung disease, pre/post lung volume reduction surgical patients, and lung transplant candidates.

A no-cost exercise program and support group are available after completing the program.

Key/New Equipment Used:

  • Quinton computer with telemetry, two treadmills, a recumbent stationary bicycle, an upright stationary bicycle, two arm ergometer and two steppers.
  • We have a complement of free weights
  • Full emergency cardiac equipment and oxygen
