RFGH Anesthesia Services provides expert anesthesia care and pain management for all surgical and procedural patients at Redington-Fairview General Hospital. Our anesthesiology team works closely with surgeons, nurses, and patients to ensure safe, comfortable, and individualized anesthesia care.
Pre-Operative Assessment
Prior to surgery, patients may be scheduled to meet with the anesthesiologist and a registered nurse. At this visit, any required pre-operative testing will be completed. If a scheduled visit is not possible, you will be contacted by phone to provide your medical history and current medications.
Post-Anesthesia Monitoring
Following your procedure, our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team monitors your recovery. Modern anesthetic agents are short-acting, and most patients are fully recovered within an hour. Our team will provide specific home care instructions and a follow-up call within 24–48 hours.
