Dr. Criswell is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides comprehensive care for patients across the lifespan. Her clinical interests include pediatrics, obstetrics, vasectomy, adult medicine, gynecological care, environmental health (PFAS), and gender-affirming care. She is also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree and a Master of Science in Biomedical Research from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. Dr. Criswell completed her Family Medicine residency through the Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency Program in Augusta and Waterville.
Dr. Criswell is an active researcher whose work focuses on the health impacts of PFAS exposure on individuals and communities. She holds faculty appointments at Tufts University School of Medicine and Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine and serves as an Affiliated Investigator with the MaineHealth Institute for Research.
