Volunteering
The volunteers at Redington-Fairview General Hospital give employees, patients and visitors the most special gift of all — their TALENT and TIME. The services they provide compliment the care given by staff. We take pride in our volunteers and we consider them part of the staff.
Volunteers ranging from age 16-70+ donate their time and talents at Redington-Fairview General Hospital day after day and with energy, enthusiasm, and commitment that is inspirational. They run errands, stock supplies, serve meals, assist families and visitors, type, file, and answer the phone . . . and perform a myriad of other tasks that assist the hospital staff to provide care and services. In addition to their "regular" responsibilities, volunteers hold fund raisers and raffles to support hospital projects, and they participate in community special events.
We invite you to join our family of volunteers. Whether you have 2 hours a month or 2 hours a week, we will do our best to match your interest and skills to the opportunities available. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at Redington-Fairview General Hospital, please contact Wendi Wainer, the Volunteer Coordinator, at 207-474-5121 ext 2425, or E-mail her at hr@rfgh.net.
