EMS Positions
Emergency Medical Services
Redington-Fairview General Hospital EMS Department is seeking to fill per diem positions (Basic, Advanced or Paramedic). Applicants must hold valid Maine EMS license and pass criminal/driving background checks. CPR, NIMS, PHTLS and AVOC required for all and ACLS, PALS, NALS and PIFT required for Paramedic.
Graduate Nurses
Medical/Surgical and Emergency Department
Positions available for new graduate nurses. Now accepting applications for openings in both the Medical/Surgical unit and the Emergency Department. We provide new graduate RNs full-time positions beginning with an extensive orientation and training program in a patient-orientated team atmosphere.
Registered Nurse
Redington Medical Primary Care
Redington Medical Primary Care has 2 full time RN positions available (one Float). This position is M-F, generally 8am -4:30pm with occasional overtime as necessary. Flexibility required with ability to work within varied office settings. Must have ability to work as a team within a very busy office setting and demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Current RN license and prior medical office experience required and care management experience is preferred. Must be able to multi task and have computer and typing skills. Only qualified applicants will be considered.

Medical/Surgical Department
The Medical Surgical Department has a full time (36 hour) night position available. Applicants are expected to work every other weekend and some holiday coverage. R.N. Maine license required and experience in Medical/Surgical nursing preferred. Must hold current BLS and IV certification. Must have excellent communication, critical thinking and customer service skills with innovative ideas. Must be able to support team function and work effectively, efficiently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Special care Unit
Special Care Unit has 2 per diem positions available (one nights and one days). Requirements include ACLS with ability to recognize/interpret/treat all cardiac rhythms/arrhythmias, PALS, IV certification and Moderate Sedation. Must be able to function independently with good decision making and interpersonal skills.

Endoscopy/Special Procedures
Nursing Dept. has a 32 hour position (4 day work week) with participation in call rotation. Response time for call is 45 minutes. Recent acute care experience, ACLS, and IV certification required. Endoscopy experience preferred but will train for endoscopy procedures.
Registered Nurse
Operating Room
The Operating Room has a full time 28-hour position will benefits (4 day work week) for a RN or a scrub tech. Participation in call rotation is required. The ability to scrub and circulate is preferred (RN only). Recent OR experience preferred and BLS required. ACLS certification required (or be obtained within 1 year of hire).
Unit Coordinator
Medical Surgical Department
The Medical Surgical Department has one 24-hour night position available. Applicant is expected to work every other weekend and some holiday coverage. Secretarial/medical background preferred and basic computer skills required. Must have medical terminology or willing to take a class . The successful applicant must be highly organized, be able to work in a chaotic atmosphere, be able to work independently or with a team, and have great interpersonal skills.
Emergency Department
The Emergency Department has four 36-hour positions available: One 6am-6pm Charge position, two 6pm-6am positions and one variable position. Must work every other weekend and rotating holidays. • 2 years ED experience preferred. • Current ACLS, PALS and IV certification • ENPC, TNCC, CEN preferred • Excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking and customer service skills with innovative ideas.
Ultrasound Technologist
Radiology department has a per diem position available. Candidate must have previous Ultrasound experience and Registered by ARDMS. Willing to assist with weekend call on a rotational basis
Sterile Processing Technician
Sterile Processing
The Sterile Processing Department has one per diem position available, day shift. Sterile processing experience preferred. Duties would include, but not limited to, scope processing, decontamination, inspection, assembly and sterilization of instruments and equipment. CRCST (certified sterile processing and service technician) preferred.
Respiratory Therapist
Respiratory Department
Respiratory Department has one full time 36 hour Respiratory Therapist position available (night shift 5pm-5am). Weekend and holiday coverage required. State of Maine Respiratory Therapy License, BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certified required or to obtain certification with in an allotted amount of time, RRT. Prefer one to two years of experience with blood gas skills. Competitive wages and excellent benefits package.
Speech-Language Pathologist
RFGH Rehab and Fitness Services
RFGH Rehab & Fitness Services has an opening for a full-time, 40 hour per week, Speech Language Pathologist to work in both our outpatient and inpatient settings. Experience and interest in pediatric therapy preferred; willing to train in dysphagia and related acute care populations. Excellent continuing education support provided along with a strong, multidisciplinary team environment. Must be Maine licensed; hold ASHA CCC; have strong written and verbal communication skills; and be an enthusiastic, self-motivated therapist wanting to provide outstanding service to a large variety of customers and clinical needs.
