The RFGH Environmental Services Department has two positions available (one full time Float 40 hour per week position with variable hours, and one per diem position). Must be available to work weekends and holidays. The housekeeper will be responsible for keeping assigned areas clean, sanitary, and aseptic by scouring, above shoulder dusting, mopping, using germicides and wet dusting. Cleans patient rooms, public areas, clinical and office areas. Removes solid, bio-hazardous and recyclable waste. Performs other related housekeeping duties such as wall washing, dusting air vents, ceiling light fixtures and glass cleaning. Keeps work station and equipment neat and clean. Works independently with supervision. Housekeepers must have a high school education or equivalent. Experience in institutional housekeeping is desirable but willing to train the right person.
The RFGH IV Team has a 24 hour per week (two 12-hr. night shifts 7p-7a) available. Must have experience in placing and assessing IVs, IV pump use, and knowledge of Central, Mid and peripheral lines. Will provide training and orientation to the team. Weekend and holiday rotation as well as ability to assist on other shifts if needed..
Employee Health/Health Connections
RFGH is seeking a nurse leader to oversee issues specific to employee health, injury management and assist with infection control issues or concerns. This nurse would also work in the clinic assisting with industry injury management. The nurse is expected to participate in committees and initiatives revolving around safety, patient handling, wellness, and worksite health. Candidate must be highly organized, motivated, able to work independently or within a team, and perform effectively under pressure. Must be able to multitask duties between roles. Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and patient care. Prior experience with injury management is a plus. Must have excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite. Director of Respiratory Care
The Respiratory Director manages the technical, clinical, and administrative functions of the service. Responsibilities include supervision of staff and direction of clinical respiratory care services appropriate for the age specific needs of neonate through geriatric patient populations. This position requires a blend of clinical and technical expertise with administrative and managerial ability. Must have Maine License and be registered with at least five years of experience with two years at a supervisory level. BLS with ACLS, NALS, and PALS is strongly encouraged. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team as well as independently. Must be Patient-centered, highly organized and perform effectively under pressure.
