The Pharmacy Department has a one-day per week position available, 10-12
hours, days only. Must be able to work one in three weekends. We provide
progressive pharmacy services to this 25-bed Critical Access Hospital from our
location on the Medical/Surgical floor. These services include: antibiotic
stewardship, anticoagulation and VTE prophylaxis management, patient
education, renal dose adjustment, kinetic dosing services, clinical drug
protocol development and maintenance, drug information, immunization screening
and ordering, oncology support, and pulmonary and cardiac rehab support. We
are a valued part of the health care team and have achieved an open and
cooperative relationship with the medical staff and nursing staff. The focus
for all of us is quality of patient care.
Special Care Unit
SCU has one per diem position available to cover all shifts, holidays,
absences, and vacations. ACLS, PALS, IV certification, moderate sedation
The Emergency Department has an opening for a per diem RN to cover all shifts, holidays, absences and vacations. A minimum of 4 years Emergency Nursing with triage experience, current ACLS, PALS, and IV certification. ENPC, TNCC required and CEN preferred. Excellent communication, critical thinking and customer service skills with innovative ideas. Able to support team function and work effectively, efficiently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Health Connections has one per diem position available. The successful candidate will be expected to ensure the smooth operation of Health Connections when covering for vacations, and absences. Typical clerical duties include scheduling patients/clients for appointments, referrals, and diagnostic tests. Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact with all disciplines. Must be able to utilize professional phone etiquette and have excellent computer skills. You must also have the ability to multitask and set priorities.
Imaging Department has one per diem position available in Ultrasound. This position requires some flexibility to cover the needs of the department/schedule and willingness to share in one weekend a month of call. Registered by RDMS is preferred or hold a current ARRT, Maine State Licensure and have prior Ultrasound experience.
RFGH Rehab & Fitness
RFGH Rehab & Fitness Services is looking for an Aquatic Aide to join our multidisciplinary therapy and aquatic fitness team for 32-hours per week, M – F. Flexible work hours to include a mix of early mornings and late afternoons. This position is primarily responsible for the provision of lifeguard services as well as general customer assistance at our pool’s front reception area – assisting members and patients and community visitors. Light housekeeping and administrative support duties also included. Experience and related certification for teaching aquatic exercise classes is preferred, but willingness and ability to be trained to do so essential. WSI certification required. Redington Medical Primary Care
Redington Medical Primary Care has a full time (float) day position. This position is M-F, generally 8am-5pm and may require occasional overtime as necessary. Flexibility required with the ability to work within varied office settings. You must have current RN license. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work as a team within a very busy office setting, demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Prior medical office experience is required. You also must be able to multi task and have computer and typing skills. Only qualified applicants will be considered.
The Endoscopy Department has a 32 hour charge nurse position available. ACLS, IV Sedation certification is required. Current Endoscopy and Charge Nurse experience is also required. Must participate in call schedule for evening, weekends and holidays.
Insurance Billing Clerk
Patient Accounts has one 40-hour week (7:30am-4:00pm) position available. Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and some secondary education or training preferred. Previous medical billing experience is preferred and computer experience is required. You must be a team player with excellent skills and the ability to interact with the public is required. Accuracy with numbers and the ability to reason, adapt to change and be able to multi-task. You must also be able to fill in for cashiers when necessary.
