Medical Assistant
Redington Gastroenterology has a full-time position available. Applicant must be certified. Must be able to perform independently and effectively under pressure and have good interpersonal and organizational skills. Also must be flexible and able to multi task and possess excellent telephone and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with multiple age groups and disciplines, including patients, peers and physicians. Medical terminology, computer and typing skills are required. Previous medical office experience is desirable. Only qualified applicants should apply.
Speech-Language Pathologist
RFGH Rehab and Fitness Services
RFGH Rehab & Fitness Services has an opening for a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist to provide swallow and communication evaluations and treatments as necessary/referred to acute care inpatients on weekends. Hour’s variable and flexible dependent on candidate’s availability and facility need. Occasional vacation coverage for outpatient services will be considered as well depending on candidate’s qualifications. Experience and clinical competence in dysphagia required. Eligible candidates will hold a current State license in Speech-Language Pathology as well as their CCC’s from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Wages commensurate with experience.
Emergency Department
Has one per diem position available. The applicant must be available for all shifts, weekends, holidays, vacation coverage and absences. Minimum 2 years ED experience preferred • Current ACLS, PALS and IV certification • ENPC, TNCC, CEN preferred • Excellent communication, critical thinking and customer service skills with innovative ideas. • Able to support team function and work effectively, efficiently and collaboratively within a team environment
Tech/Unit Coordinator

Cardiac Rehab has a per diem position available. • BLS required • Candidate must be able to take vital signs and recognize lethal arrhythmias • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary
Birthing Center
Per Diem staff nurse positions available. Candidates must: • Be an RN licensed in the State of Maine • Have current Labor and Delivery, Postpartum and Newborn care competencies • Be current in BCLS, NRP and IV competencies • Cover 12 hour day or night shifts, including weekend shifts, as necessary • Cover 1 major holiday per year • Have excellent clinical skills and critical thinking skills Have exceptional customer service and communication skills
Emergency Room
Emergency Room has one 36-hour position available with the possibility of charge. RN, Nursing Supervisor
Nursing Administration
Nursing Administration has one per diem Nurse Supervisor position available to assist in hospital leadership relief. This position will be able to cover unique shifts such as 3pm to 7pm as well as cover vacations, weekends and holidays for regular staff. • RN licensed in the State of Maine. • Current CPR (BLS) and ACLS Certification. • Must have excellent service skills with positive interpersonal relationships. • Must have excellent communication and leadership skills. • Requires skills in supervision and leadership as well as a strong clinical knowledge and the ability to make independent decisions. Community Health Educator
Somerset Public Health
Has a 30 hour, grant-funded position with benefits – Somerset Public Health is seeking a new team member to serve on the front lines of our obesity prevention programs. This position will have a dual role focusing on providing nutrition education to community members and working with towns, stores, food pantries, farms and more to improve nutrition and physical activity environments and policies. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to educate people of all ages and develop relationships with organizations to work on improving policies and environments. A successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate that they are self-directed, multi-tasking, highly organized and be able to work autonomously and as part of our large team of public health professionals. Knowledge of best practices in nutrition and physical activity policy and environmental change and the prevention of obesity are preferred. Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Community Health, Public Health, or related field • Experience and/or demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in the community and across multiple age groups • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Demonstrated understanding of best practices to achieve changes in policies and environments that promote good health. • A valid Maine Driver’s License Preferred: • Master’s degree in public health or related field • Group process facilitation experience • Experience or demonstrated understanding of social marketing theory and practice
