Chief Financial Officer
Redington-Fairview General Hospital seeks qualified applicants for the
position of CFO. This is a full time position with benefits. Major
responsibilities include: coordination/preparation of monthly and annual
financial reporting; direct/prepare the hospital annual budget; prepare
periodic investment reports for presentation to Board of Directors; oversee
cost report preparation; direct/prepare the annual audit and annual financial
statements; review/analyze hospital operations and implement operational
changes. Applicants mus have any combination equivalent to a Bachelor's degree
with major course work in accounting, finance, business administration or
related field and three years of experience in hospital finance is preferred.
This is a hands-on position. Knowledge of GAAP and physician office operations
will be helpful. Excellent analytical and computer skills are critical. The
position reports to the Associate Director.
The Nursing Department has per diem positions available for all shifts. Staff needed to do one-on-one observation of at risk patients. Health care experience preferred. Position is not responsible for direct care. Works under direction of nursing. Good communication skills are needed. Observes and reports changes to nursing staff.
The Admitting Office has one per diem position. The applicant must be
available for day & evening shifts, weekends, holidays, vacation coverage,
and absences. Previous experience in Medical Record Terminology or medical
background with general office experience and skills, including basic computer
knowlege, are required. Applicant must be highly organized, able to work
independently, and perform effectively under pressure. Good telephone
technique is required, as well as the ability to interact professionally with
multiple age groups and disciplines.
The Pharmacy Department has a one-day per week position available, 10-12
hours, days only. Must be able to work one in three weekends. We provide
progressive pharmacy services to this 25-bed Critical Access Hospital from our
location on the Medical/Surgical floor. These services include: antibiotic
stewardship, anticoagulation and VTE prophylaxis management, patient
education, renal dose adjustment, kinetic dosing services, clinical drug
protocol development and maintenance, drug information, immunization screening
and ordering, oncology support, and pulmonary and cardiac rehab support. We
are a valued part of the health care team and have achieved an open and
cooperative relationship with the medical staff and nursing staff. The focus
for all of us is quality of patient care.
Admitting has one per diem position available to fill in for all shifts.
Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Computer experience
is required. Communication skills, accuracy and reasoning skills are required.
Previous switchboard experience is preferred. Ability to adapt to change and
handle multiple duties.
Special Care Unit
SCU has one per diem position available to cover all shifts, holidays,
absences, and vacations. ACLS, PALS, IV certification, moderate sedation
Nursing Administration has one per diem Nurse Supervisor position available to
cover all shifts, vacations, weekends, and holidays. RN licensed in the state
of Maine; current CPR (BLS) and ACLS certification; must have excellent
service skills with positive interpersonal relationships; must have excellent
communication and leadership skills; requires skills in supervision and
leadership as well as strong clinical knowledge and the ability to make
independent decisions. Must be a clinical resource to nursing services.
Endoscopy/Special Procedures, Nursing Dept.
The nursing department has one 8-hour position, also per diem hours are
available. The applicant must be able to cover for absences, vacations and
fill in when needed. Recent acute care experience required. Prior Endoscopy
experience preferred. ACLS; IV and conscious sedation certifications required.
