Respiratory Department has a per diem position available to cover all shifts, vacations, weekends and holidays. Must have a State of Maine Respiratory Therapy License. You must also be BLS, ACLS & PALS and NRP certified or to obtain certification within an allotted amount of time. Must have RRT. Competitive wage scale. Prefer one to two years of experience with blood gas skills.
Medical/ Surgical Unit
Medical Surgical Unit has one per diem position available to work all shifts. Must be flexible to work different shifts (days, evening, nights) and weekends, holidays to cover vacations and absences. Experienced MS nurse preferred and must hold a current BLS certification.

Medical Surgical Unit has one 32-hour position available, every other weekend. (4-8hr shifts on the 2p-10p) Certification from an approved Nurses Aid Program. Must also be registered with the Stat CNA Registry. Certification in BLS is required. Shall be qualified by education, background and experience for the responsibility of the position. Clinical experience in hospital is preferred.
The Emergency Room has one 36-hour position available for a dedicated Registered Nurse for the 6pm-6am shift with the ability to work every other weekend. Previous emergency nursing and triage experience also preferred. Must have current ACLS,PALS, and IV certification. ENPC, TNCC and CEN preferred. Excellent communication, critical thinking and customer service skills with innovative ideas is also preferred. You must also be able to support team function and work effectively, efficiently and collaboratively within a team environment.
(PICH) Program Coordinator
Somerset Public Health
Somerset Public Health Partnerships in Community Health (PICH). This is a 40-hour, grant-funded position with benefits. Seeking qualified individual to lead guide and facilitate work on our Somerset County Service area PICH grant work plan activities to improve population health, working collaboratively with Redington-Fairview General Hospital, other clinical care leadership, IT professionals and with existing community partners, to assure strong clinical community linkages for evidence based prevention services. In addition this individual will work with to build and maintain evidence based program capacity, establishing new program delivery sites and training of program leaders. The successful candidate must be comfortable interacting with health care professionals, community organizations, community programs, work-sites, and state government officials. Candidate must be self-directed with the ability to work autonomously and as a team. Knowledge of best practices for preventing chronic disease and activities to improve population health is preferred. This work will be done in partnership with MGH Prevention Center and EMHS PICH Program Managers the SPH Assistant Project Director and SPH staff, with direct supervision of the SPH Project Director.
• 4 year degree in Community Health or related field required, Masters in Public Health and at least one year experience preferred;
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in working with multiple stakeholders required;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills, preferred;
• Experience in doing Policy and Environmental Health change;
• Must have a valid Maine Driver’s License.
• Knowledge/familiarity with Somerset and Kennebec Counties preferred.

Radiology Department has one per diem position available. This position requires flexibility to cover all shifts including holiday and weekend rotation. Must have current ARRT and Maine License. Previous experience in other modalities (Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, CT Scan or Mammography) would be a benefit. Must be willing to cross train being able to do non contrast head and non contrast abdomen CT scan. Must be willing to be flexible to cover the schedule.
