Skowhegan Family Medicine
Skowhegan Family Medicine has a full time day position available. This position will be Monday-Friday generally 8-4:30 with flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed. Current Medical Assistant Certification is required. Applicant must have good interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently, multitask, and possess excellent communication skills. Medical terminology, computer and typing skills are required. Experience in electronic medical records is preferred. Previous medical office experience is desirable.
Special Care Unit
SCU has one per diem position available to cover all shifts, holidays,
absences, and vacations. ACLS, PALS, IV certification, moderate sedation
The Emergency Department has an opening for a per diem RN to cover all shifts, holidays, absences and vacations. A minimum of 4 years Emergency Nursing with triage experience, current ACLS, PALS, and IV certification. ENPC, TNCC required and CEN preferred. Excellent communication, critical thinking and customer service skills with innovative ideas. Able to support team function and work effectively, efficiently and collaboratively within a team environment.
The IV Team has on per diem position available. The applicants must be available for all shifts, weekends, holidays and vacation coverage. They are 12 hour shifts. You must have one year experience as an RN and also much have IV experience. CRNI preferred and must have current BLS.
Medical Surgical Unit
Medical Surgical Unit has one per diem position available for all shifts and weekends. 2-3 years experience in secretarial/medical background and medical terminology is preferred. Applicant must be highly organized and able to work independently and perform effectively under pressure. Assertiveness and good interpersonal communication skills are essential.
Respiratory Department has a per diem position available to cover all shifts, vacations, weekends and holidays. Must have a State of Maine Respiratory Therapy License. You must also be BLS, ACLS & PALS and NRP certified or to obtain certification within an allotted amount of time. Must have RRT. Competitive wage scale. Prefer one to two years of experience with blood gas skills.
Nursing Department has per diem positions available for all shifts. Staff needed to do one on one observation of at risk patients. Healthcare experience preferred. Not responsible for direct care. Works under the direction of Nursing. Must have good communication skills. Observes and reports changes to Nursing staff.
Paramedics, Basic, and Advanced EMT
Redington-Fairview is seeking all levels to fill per diem positions. Applicants must hold a valid Maine EMS license, pass a background check and have a driving record which meet insurability standards. CPR, NIMS, PHTLS and AVOC are required for all. Paramedics must hold certifications in ACLS, PALS, NALS, and PIFT.
Medical Assistant Float

This position will be Monday-Friday, generally 8-4:30 with flexibility to work occasional overtime when needed. Associate degree in Medical Assistant is preferred. Medical Assistant Certification, high school graduate and medical terminology is required. Good interpersonal skills and organizational skills are also required. Previous medical office experience is desirable and previous experience with electronic medical records is preferred. Must also be able to multitask and have good computer typing skills.
